今日はbe the caseとthat's behind meです⑩Be the case: To be a reality.
事実だ、現実だ

caseには、事件、問題、事例などたくさんの意味がありますが、
the caseとtheがつくことによって、事実、真相という意味にもなります。
it's not the caseをit's not trueのフォーマルな言い方と説明している人もいました。

ちなみに"be on the case"というイディオムもあるみたいで、こちらは特定の状況でされるべきことをしているという意味だそうです。
"We need to ​book a ​flight before it's too late." "Don't ​worry, I'm on the case."
「遅くなる前に飛行機の予約をしないと。」「心配しないで。私がやってるから」


ex: "I wish I had a million dollars, but that's not the case."
約万ドル持ってたらいいけど、それは現実ではない。
直訳しちゃうとなんだか変に聞こえちゃうけど、、

⑪That's behind me:
That's in the past, therefore no longer important. Related to phrases such as "I've put it behind me", "it's behind me now", etc.
それは過去のことだからもはや重要ではない。
関連するフレーズとして"I've put it behind me"や"It's behind me now"があります。
直訳すると「それは私の後ろにある」→「私のとって過去のもの、過ぎ去ったこと」です。

悩みや失敗など全部"That's behind me!!!"って言って今を楽しみたいものです
